Education
At Sparsha, we believe that each and every student has the right to pursue and complete her/his education, irrespective of his/her socio-economic background.
Our Education Program is designed to serve as a foundation for lifelong learning, providing students with a pathway out of poverty and preparing them for the world beyond.
We Believe “EDUCATION is the ANSWER”
Education is the most vital asset of an individual in this world. The access to the right education is however not evenly distributed.
In Underprivileged Areas, school drop-out rates remain high, girls tend to skip school altogether, and a very high number of students fail to acquire basic secondary education. This occurs due to various reasons, the major reasons being the lack of education in parents and poverty. STI (Sparsha Technical Institute) is currently working with children, parents and the government schools in order to eliminate these imbalances.
We aim to spread awareness through conducting meetings among the youth, adults and parents. Our aim is to motivate parents to send their children to school and give them an opportunity to develop themselves to their best ability.
We are helping schools adopt a more suitable environment to learn within, by improving school infrastructure and technological development for experiential learning. We offer career counselling to students to enhance their employability after they graduate from school.
We also emphasise on education that trains a child in social skills and life skills. With this, every child holds a better chance in society and can positively embrace the chances they are offered in life.
At our adult education centres, we focus on functional literacy so the older group of children become independent and more self-sufficient.
Sparsha aims to bring about a positive change in the lives of millions of children/ student/ out there who are surrounded by poverty, illness, illiteracy and overall despair. Together, we can bring about this change and make it last.
Health
HEALTH
Sparsha provides free healthcare services to students, families and community members.
Health is Wealth!
We work with our surrounding communities to spread health education and awareness in order to improve their health-seeking behavior. Our programs focus on preventive healthcare. Our aim is to build strong systems and provide better access to maternal and neonatal care for women and newborns and to avoid malnutrition among children.
SHC (Sparsha Health Care) organises camps that offer primary healthcare services to diagnose common health issues including anaemia, poor vision and dental problems.
Our simple solutions include vaccinations, immunizations and regular School Check up at government Schools level. We aim at preventing common illness and disorders in the earlier stages, in order to prevent further complications and help improve the overall well-being of communities.

We also assist individuals and self-help groups access government programs meant to uplift them, so they can move out of poverty.
Once our communities become self-sufficient and learn to reinforce that with state support, they strike out on their own. At this stage, we typically move out of such deprivation and seek other communities that need help.
We provide skills training a wide range of programs, including diploma, certificate and short-term courses, in areas such as engineering, IT, business, and health sciences.
